Appeal for Aizwan Aziz

IKRAM Care and Relief UK Eire would like to open a donation drive to help a Malaysian student from Sheffield, Aizwan Aziz who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer.

We would like to encourage members of IKRAM UK Eire and other members of the community in UK and Eire to help donate for this cause. He will be going back to Malaysia and receive further treatments there including chemotherapy and surgery.

These treatments will incur some costs, and therefore brothers and sisters, let's ease his burden by donating for this charity appeal inshaAllah.

Here, we forward the original message by Sheffield Malaysian Students Association (SMSA) for more information:

" Salam and hi to everyone!

I hope this message finds all of you in the best of health.

On behalf of SMSA, we have set up a charity drive to help one of our members, Aizwan Aziz who is currently suffering from bone cancer.

This donation drive aims to help him cover his medical costs from his treatment. He has undergone nine rounds of chemotherapy and is due to receive three more cycles which the doctors hope will reduce the size of his current tumour before they attempt to remove it surgically.

We have set a target of GBP 5000.00 to cover the cost of further chemotherapy treatments, the surgery as well as post-surgical care which will be undertaken back in Malaysia.

Although this may seem like a large amount, I am optimistic that it is not an impossible feat. I urge you to donate generously, and to share his story to your friends, family, and members of your respective societies because “we can do no great things, only small things with great love”.
